Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Per Jay Z in yesterday's post-game press conference, he pronounces his name like "booker". Maybe this will end the great pronunciation debate.

Just when we finally figure it out, he will wearing a Wild uniform.

On another topic, with yesterday's win, are we now in the NCAAs?

Not quite yet.

If DU loses today & if three teams win the ECAC, HE, CCHA that are ranked below #16 in the Pairwise and DU is ranked #13 they would be eliminated.

The odds of that happening are probably 100,000 to 1.

Thanks, DG. Any thoughts on who we should be rooting against in those other conferences? Who are the sub-16 candidates that are still in the running in those other conference tournaments?

Hopefully we'll just win today.

Cheer against Bowling Green and Providence especially. The ECAC has 2 sub-16ers (Harvard and Colgate), and a bubble team (Cornell) still playing....so cheering for Union gives DU their best chance.

I just noticed that today, 3/16/12, is first anniversary of Puck Swami's last post on USCHO. He is much missed.
I miss his insight and style every time I get on the Forum (see below) It's just not the same.

Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Congrats to Zac Larraza on his 1st collegiate goal!

2 OTs and 1 double OT have put a dent in my wine cellar.:p But, I don't care.

Fortunately I have a Crown Royal AP, and was able to put in an emergency order.
