Fun game tonight. What about the disallowed goal? What do people think? I was in the 22nd row at the opposite end of the ice, so there is no way I could know.
Friday's game was covered on line--can't say about the paper itself.Question for Pio fans.
I had connecting flights in Denver yesterday and was looking forward to picking up the Post to find out what happened Friday night, not only in the WCHA but across the country. Practically nothing at all. I realize Denver has a lot of other sports interests, and most people are getting their news online, but I was surprised. I see from the post below that the Sat game was covered. Was the Friday game covered in the paper edition? Does college hockey get much coverage in the Post?
I was at center ice so I have no idea. The review was quick which makes me think they saw contact. Anybody got video? Tech sweeps the ***** cats. 57 RIDES AGAIN!![]()

Yeah I just went back and watched it online. It was a pretty obvious crease violation. No physical contact, but the rule includes a player visually preventing the goalie from making the save, and the Wisconsin player was, as vizoroo said, standing directly between Brittain and the guy who shot the puck.Watched the game replay on PioVision and the UW player, Woods, definitely had 2 feet in the crease and was standing directly in front of Sam.
