Gwoz wasn't too thrilled with the early effort in the 3rd period and called a timeout to scold the team over, presumably, some sloppiness and stupid penalties while he stood on the ice to address them.

Congrats to Doremus, Mayfield and LaLeggia for their first career goals! And for Joey adding a second!

I thought Tabrum looked pretty decent this weekend, has a bit more speed than I expected.

When Gwoz did that, I was impressed. The team has had a knack...ESPECIALLY against Kato of letting teams back into games. Last night Gwoz told them to put Mankato away and not loaf around.

I agree. The fact that he felt the need to get pi-ssy (had to edit, used a 'bad' word) over a few minutes worth of lapse in a blowout was noteworthy, but I was just as impressed that the team seemed as enthralled with his sermon as they were...he snapped them to attention immediately.

INCH moves DU up to 3rd in their power rankings behind B and C Colleges.

He appears to be MUCH more than the average 3rd goalie, I think that with Murray looking pretty focused, Juho and (a once healthy) Brittain that we actually have three pretty darn good goalies...

Those guys are getting pretty fired up over there on the other thread!!
I seem to remember them as being funny not so bitter, what happened?

Its just two or three of them that have their panties in a wad and refuse to grow up. Even their own fans are embarrassed by them.

The team is on its way to Houghton. They have already reached O'Hare in Chicago and now must head to Houghton.
