On another note, we need the puck to drop soon and we need to kick some ***!! I'm getting really tired of hearing my Maine friends talk about how this is going to be their year, we didn't lose anybody, we're due, Gustav Nyquist, blah, blah, blah!!!!

I've watched the 1st period and the Rock totally looks like he belongs out there!! du78, were you in attendance? Should I keep watching? (in other words does the Rock do something worthy of me spending 2.5 hours watching a pre season rookie camp game for a team I don't care about?)

Wasn't there as I was at my son's cross country meet. He got 7th place out of 125 and won his first medal.

Watched part of the game and to be honest it was boring. All the other teams are in preseason and the Isles are scrimmaging

I think Rakh will probably start in the AHL and hopefully get called up for more than a few games. Wouldn't it be great if he had a Bozak type year?

Saw a bit of the Oilers and Canucks game tonight. Vacnouver has a D-Man from Illinois that you may know - and I was shocked at the number he was wearing.

The 3rd Annual LetsGoDU/Spanky's Pep Rally is going to be held on Saturday, Oct 23rd before the DU-Wisconsin hockey game.

Spanky's obtained an event permit from the City of Denver and Red Bull will be providing a tent for their parking lot.

TSN announcers already have Weircioch going to the AHL Binghamton Sens to start the year. Ottawa shows his weight at 185 and he still looks slim. Same announcers said he had a great upside, but needed strength and to learn the pro game.
