Tied for 3rd in WCHA with NoDak and Gophs(2 in hand)
Shouldn't we be higher or am I missing something. I'm looking at the Colgate comp and the cop seems incorrect. When I went to school. 2-1-0 was better than 1-1-1.

Looking for an answer to a trivia question from one of the DU alums (I'm not one) or a long-time fan (I am one of those, had season tix in the old barn for 15 years or so through the 80's to mid-90's). Shortly before we moved from Denver to the north woods of upper MI, there was a kid on the team from Alaska, a highly-touted recruit, who was nicknamed "the Chocolate Rocket." He never panned out as much of a player, quick but no finishing skills, and left school early (maybe some off-ice trouble, I seem to recall). My wife and I were watching a game this weekend and he came up in conversation. Can one of you give me his name? Thanks in advance for answering one of those lingering trivia things that won't go away till answered. And congrat's Pie's on the Saturday rally, and condolences to Coach Gwozdecky.
Yep, that's him! Thanks, Chris, for the quick reply. A borderline interesting footnote in my years following DU while living in Denver. And one of those names that wouldn't quite make it to the forefront of my gray matter. (Now I can sleep...)I would assume you are talking about Maurice Hall. He was a highly-touted player but after his freshman year, he went home to Alaska and ended up with a rape charge. He was never convicted but he was not allowed to leave Alaska while the whole process took place(like 2 years or something), so his career at DU was ended pretty quick.

Last time DU went 4-0-0 against CC in the regular season?
1988-89 when Backstrom was coach.
