Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

Lindsay Graham is a community organizer for the Muslim Brotherhood! Primary season is going to be nothing but non-stop laughs leading up to the 2014 elections. I can't wait to see what comes next. :D :D :D
Lindsay Graham, like john McCain need to retire.

NYT fires major shot across Hillary's bow with expose on what a financial cesspool the Clinton Foundation is. I wonder what the back story is. Are they signaling opposition to her '16 presidential ambitions (doubtful)? Or is it a pre-emptive strike, aimed at giving her years to overcome the revelations (possible)? Or are they actually practicing journalism (most doubtful of all)? Still, any article that mentions the legendary Ira Magaziner can't be all bad. Schadenfreude alert.

Looks like Old Pio's bestest friend Jesse Jackson Jr and his wife are getting serious jail time. His and hers jail sentences of 30 and 12 months respectively.

Where's the 40K Rolex? The judge sentenced her to 12 months, instead of the customary 12 months and a day. The latter would qualify her for time off for good behavior. As it stands, she'll serve every day of her sentence. For those who've forgotten, she was an alderman in Chicago. Another shining star.

Even with good behavior I thought I read he can't do less than 25 months either. Or something like that.

Get the bad news out of the way so that it is old and forgotten news in 2015.

Get the bad news out of the way so that it is old and forgotten news in 2015.

I think some of our older conservative friends have an outdated view of the efficiency of the media. Reporters, be it ones working for the NYT, Fox News, CNN, Newsmax, etc etc are lazy and stupid. They don't get any less lazy and stupid depending upon who they work for, unless they work for Playboy in which case I imagine those reporters are pretty inspired to go to work every day. :D Otherwise, you can expect stories about nothing.

So, Hillary Clinton. People are interested in her. Interest sells papers. Controversy does too, real or imagined. So, you're not going to write a piece about how everything's going smoothly over in Clintonville. Rather you're going to write stories about the dimensions of any interns they may have hired. Far from being a vehicle for any HRC Presidential run, the NYT like any media outlet is looking out for its own interests.

So, this is already a non-story just like the whole who's-Palin's-kids-real-mother nonsense. What exactly is the issue here? That it took a new non-profit funded by private donations a few years to get its operations running properly? Better start drafting those impeachment amendments so that they can be voted on during Inauguration Day.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

If the reporters were really all that lazy, I expect any day now to see an article headlined, "Controversey with Liberal Group; Rover Looks Other Way." It practically writes itself. :)

However,, I sure didn't see anything particularly darning in that article, and I'm far from a Hillarian.

I guess I need a new agent then! Who handles the Kardashians? :D

I call shenanigans. No one is interested in her anymore outside of the media.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

Hillary is old news. I do not like her, but grudgingly acknowledge that possibly aside from the Benghazi fiasco, she was a decent and intelligent SoS. Time for the Democrats to find their next big thing, or else Hillary is going to look and sound like McCain in '08.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

I don't think there are many Hillary fans on this board. I'm not sure where she's getting her support beyond name recognition. She may get the nomination...but it will not be a cakewalk.

There are not great candidates...but at this point, I'd take Amy Klobuchar.

Nonsense. She's our next president.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

I don't understand why Hillary doesn't have the full support of all or nearly all party members.

The repubs have no one who can beat her, all they have is a bunch of idiots who think the majority of people care about their social agenda. Be nice to have an independant run who actually had a platform of a fiscal tightwad and pushed that non stop
