2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

I think I've decided to avoid news for the next 4 years. My boss connected me with our office of diversity and equity and I'm going to start working with them on different groups we have for both employees and patients. At least, until Medicare/Medicaid is gutted and we can't afford patient outreach anymore.

Republicans have won the House. They have total and complete control of government. Wonder if the fucking idiots will remember that in two years when the price of eggs doesn't come down.

he’s going to appoint so many House members to Cabinet positions he’s going to give the Dems a majority, at least temporarily.
 
Well, to be fair, they’ve been finished for a while. Ukraine capitulating and being absorbed into Russia is, um, not ideal for the world order.

I believe we are now in cycle after cycle where things don't improve and the incumbents get blamed.
