2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

After posting my missive, I realize the obvious potential flaw with my argument that Americans are voting economy, and that’s the protest vote from Democrats against Biden over Israel. I do know a couple Bosnian women from my job who both have repeatedly voiced they won’t vote for Biden over his handling of Israel. As a white man born in the United States, I do my best to empathize, but ultimately disagree with their decision not to vote. They conceded Trump was far worse, but said their male family members thought Trump was better for the economy, so, take that with a tiny grain of salt.

Americans care about the economy. As we’re all aware, ironically, the economy is doing quite well, far better than the rest of the developed world, but it’s also the issue the executive branch, specially the President, has a marginal at best influence over, compared to, say, foreign policy. I know the average American voter says economy matters most, and they think it sucks, which, again, is hilarious, because it doesn’t. But, even though Americans don’t vote based on foreign policy, that’s where Biden shines. A majority of the world views Biden favorably, not to mention way better than Trump. Trump wins, and Ukraine certainly loses. World War III becomes far greater, whether Russia is as weak as Kepler thinks they are, or stronger. I don’t want to find out with an attack on NATO. We need Biden.

I dont care how he votes...saying this stuff publicly is ridiculous and is so wrongheaded it defies imagination. Then again he voted against the George Floyd Act because he wanted to protect qualified immunity:confused: He also voted against enhanced background checks until Lewiston happened and he was made to look like a cucked fool.

Implying that Dems are fear mongering a second Trump term is the height of stupidity I don't care what party he is in.

But number three, let me speak about the radical left. You and I have both been parts of faculties and faculty senates and understand that the left has taken over our institutions. The reason that they are apoplectic right now, the reason that so many anchors on MSNBC, for example, are losing their minds daily is because our side is winning.

And so I come full circle on this response and just want to encourage you with some substance that we are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.

I empathize with them too...my empathy for them dies the second their choices backfire. I hope we never see that day.

Fair enough. I see your side too. I still think if they actually needed him on a bill or it’d fail, he’d vote for it, far more than a Republican would. I think he actually thinks Trump is going to win. If Drew is no more likely to vote for Trump than before because of Jared Golden, then we’re golden. Bless his heart. Just my two cents.

It should be noted one Rep from Texas did call for him to step aside...a guy I had never heard of and he has been in Congress for like 30 years.

Clyburn is like 90% of the reason we have President Biden. The likelihood of him turning on Biden isn't even zero, it's negative.

NBC news had a whole segment on Biden and sundowning last night. Supposedly the story was verified by people who know? If your Bidens campaign team I'm not sure how you fight back?

How the average American thinks about and understands macroeconomics is roughly as follows:

1. Am I employed?
2. Is my spouse employed (if applicable/desired)?
3. My usual at Starbucks/Wendy's/McDonald's costs HOW MUCH now?!?!

Why not? Biden stepping away from the campaign, or better yet resigning and letting Harris take over the White House is an even better story than keeping the 2024 election a horse race. If the media was salivating because they were able to keep the race close, they are absolutley blowing their wads over the prospect of a presidential abdication.

Sadly, I believe now that the media is going to push this story literally until Biden or the Democratic party is going to be forced to make a change. Biden is toast one way or another probably because Americans are so godda mn stupid. I'd say in 15 or 20 years, when credible histories of these times could be written, we would all know the truth about Biden's true and actual competency. Unfortunately, I doubt the world will be anything but a barren wasteland by then.

I am telling you folks, we are now fully at the by any means possible stage. The world literally cannot allow a second trump presidency.
