Some faces are good, but the open mouth one doesn't help, combining with the hoarseness tonight. But I agree the change from prepared remarks to calling out BS got him more comfortable. That said, first 15 minutes are when most people turn in, so it won't help. I mean, it's Trump, having an actual debate on points won't work, he'll come out with "everything was perfect under me and everything is horrible under him", just shoving out BS like a rally, you just need to point out to people how ridiculous it all is and how nuts this guy is. I wish that weren't the case, actual debates are better for the country, but it is what it is. If Biden does decide to fire something like Trump asked him to, then it should be his debate strategist first.

Also, does this mean Biden's illegal stimulant drugs have a 15 minute delay? Ronny Jackson needs to fill us in.

Are there many Biden hardos that wouldn’t vote for a replacement candidate? Seems like a pretty easy decision.

From what i gatheted from my SO Trumps lies were pretty obvious so only his people will buy his BS. And she is not some Biden apologist.

Biden needs to fix this though.

Agreed. No one thinks Biden did great. That's fine! What matters is what the voters think four months from now.
 
Before the debate last night I told my wife, "the worst thing is no matter what happens the polls won't change."

If last night is what hands Trump the election, we were fucked anyways. This sounds ironic, maybe moronic, but if the average swing voter has Drew’s intelligence and political knowledge, I think Biden will be fine. If they’re actually stupid, not just stupid trolls, and believe performative theater is what makes a good president, then yeah, again, Trump’s about to open up a permanent lead in the next week. I think he will open up a lead anyways as Democrats’ non-response rate goes up again in the coming days, but I think it’ll evaporate as time goes on…it’s only 6/28, after all.
 
Last night just reinforces how arrogant everyone in Joe Biden's generation is, and continues to be. They think they are indispensable. No one is. No one has ever been. Get the fuck over yourself or you're going to do to the country what RBG did to the Supreme Court.
 
CNN just said Biden made at least nine false claims last night.

I definitely do not want Trump to be president again. He was a disaster and obviously has many failings, but it’s crystal clear Biden is in decline and it’s not going to get better. I think Obama needs to step up and have a tough conversation with Biden.

It was funny that the NYTimes had to admit that more Republicans answered the call than Dems which may have skewed the results.

I know what the media is saying (or can guess) but I wonder what the campaign is actually thinking right now. I know I got like 5 emails already about it. (6 one just arrived)
 
The Xitter BidenBros were losing their minds last night (looking at you, Armand Domalewski), so I figured he came out low energy. I did get a laugh out of the comments that we could put to rest the rumors that he was gonna be all jacked up on stimulants. :rolleyes:

Sounds like Trump did what Trump was gonna do - bully and lie as loudly as possible. I doubt anyone's needle moved. So basically, it was a perfect outcome for the media, who can spend the next week clamoring about Sleepy Joe getting replaced at the convention.
 
Yes…the calls for a new candidate is so incredibly fu-king stupid. As a Democrat, Biden is our guy. I don’t want anyone else. He could have peed all over himself and been airlifted to the nearest hospital, and he’s still my guy. Fu-k the media. Fu-k the noise.

No generation has left the stage of history willingly; they have had to be pushed. If we're going to make sweeping generalizations, why doesn't anyone in GenX have the chops to unseat the Boomers?
