Given the level of detachment from reality these people have, I have no doubt that they probably do think that Pittsburgh is as red as Dallas simply because there are a few, very local people within the Echo Chamber.

Ugh, that’s a number of my cousins. The crap I’ve seen spew forth from their yaps on FB is just head-shaking stupid.
 
The thing about the MAGAts is they honestly believe that the vast majority of the country think and feel the way they do. Now yes, there's a good number of them, but nowhere near the numbers they think they have.

Which is much of why Dementia Donnie doesn't think he needs to do anything to appeal to voters outside the base. Cause he thinks the base IS America.

To be clear, this was referring to the democrats drawing all of the GOP's money. It was making fun of them GOP's lower strategy.

That is what Donnie said at the disaster of a press conference a few weeks back. You can tell he thinks the 200 people who show up at a rally in some town he has never heard of are the only 200 people in that town.

Someone on TikTok eloquently summed the entire JD Vance experience up as this: we are constantly told to check our sources, don't believe everything, but some embellishments are so fitting like the off-handed "Vance f*cked a couch, it's in his book," and we *all* shrugged and went "Yeah, that tracks coming from someone like Vance," and no one checked.

Oh I got what you were saying...I was trying to apply some logic to the whole thing but honestly I am not sure there is any. They have abandoned every path but one. That tells me internal numbers are showing abortion is killing them everywhere so they are going to hold to the places that will likely be the closest. Pennsylvania and Georgia would be enough if they keep North Carolina but they cut spending in North Carolina and it is within the margin of error no matter who is leading. I mean they are often leading in Nevada and Arizona is super close but they are basically walking away from them when it comes to money, and the thing they have in common is abortion is on the ballot.

Look, the final nail in the coffin for Biden was two fold, down ballot was being drowned and internal polling was showing worse numbers than even the pollsters were publishing. I admit I didn't buy any of that because of who was reporting it, but obviously the farther away we get the more obvious it is. (plus people I trust have backed it up) I know that 90% of the people who work for Donny are nimrods who will do whatever he says but there are some people who understand how elections go that are part of the campaign and we can see what their strategy is. Notice he is just doing lame sit down interviews right now (either edited by friendly networks or podcasts) avoiding rallies. Their plan to have Trump be counter-programming to the DNC with MAGA Rallies failed epically and they were reminded in the last 2 weeks or so that the more he is seen the worse his numbers get. They are trying to insulate him as much as possible until the debate in hopes of keeping him from really tanking. Meanwhile they have basically decided that they are going to focus all of their time and energy on one path to victory like they are the Griswolds playing Keno in Vegas...which tells me their internal numbers show that is the only reliable path to victory at this point. My guess is Tom Bonier's charts about female voter registrations (and the others that show minority registrations) are right on the mark. That is also backed up by the fact that Right Leaning pollsters are starting to flood the market with polls to mess with averages like 538 which, according to Faux I guess, has Trump with the better odds in all of the Blue Wall and most of the Swing States...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. If that was the case Nate Silver, they would be throwing money at those places to keep them. As many people have been saying of late "538 is a gambling site and Nate Silver is just a bookie".

And the ones who seem the most worried about Trump and his strategy are the down ballot GOPers who are sounding the alarm about money they don't have (Lara needs to promote her music video come on guys she doesn't have time to help you out!) which is going to cost them winnable races in the House.

Personally I am all for it!

tons of yard signs up as well. All trump, no Harris.

Yeah the neocons believed the country was Center-Right (Faux says this as well) but the MAGAts think they are reactionary tot he point of authoritarian. Hell some openly beg for a dictator and an end to democracy!
