2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

I think he'd boot him tomorrow but 1)Thiel has him monetarily by the balls and 2) I don't think there is a way to get Vance off and RFK Jr on the ballot as VP (and get RFK Jr off the ballot as President in a bunch of other states). I'd be delighted if he tried though, since I bet the ballot that confused his voters would make Florida 2000's bungling look like a well oiled machine.

Well RFK Jr. can't get off the ballot in Pennsylvania I think I read so there is no way they could fix the ballot anyways. Honestly I think it would be awesome if they could because RFK might tank Trump even more than Vance. Very few liberals will fall for the "Kennedy Name" psyop that is at play but I would bet a bunch of nimrods would vote against a Kennedy just out of spite ;)

Apologies if already shared:

Kamala Harris' economic platform resonates across party lines

I'm confused. I've been told by righties I know that Kamala Harris is a communist, but I see nothing in these policies about seizing the means of production, abolishing private property, establishing farming and manufacturing collectives, creating local governing councils, or other hallmarks of that academic philosophy. It's so weird that they keep calling her one.

Michigan's SOS said he's stuck because he won the nomination of the "Natural Law Party" and there is no time for another convention. Shame that is.

Trump suggested he might back out of the Sept 10th debate, so the Harris team posted sound effects of chicken squawking and emojis around his interview. It's like the guy who got to do the occasional Dark Brandon and little else got told "feel free to go nuts"

He also did a thumbs up at the grave...of a soldier who died in Afghanistan...because of the deal he cut.

Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, the Republican vice presidential nominee, attacked teachers who don’t have children in remarks in 2021 that resurfaced Tuesday.

In his public comments, he reserved specific criticism for Randi Weingarten, the head of the American Federation of Teachers.

“You know, so many of the leaders of the left, and I hate to be so personal about this, but they’re people without kids, trying to brainwash the minds of our children,” Vance said at a Center for Christian Virtue leadership forum moderated by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt and the group’s president, Aaron Baer, in October 2021.

Vance was joined by other Republican candidates in Ohio’s Senate race for 2022.

When the candidates were asked about handling problems with schools and making them more responsive to parents, Vance took aim at Weingarten, who has described herself as “a mother by marriage,” by saying she “doesn’t have a single child.”

“If she wants to brainwash and destroy the mind of children, she should have some of her own and leave ours the hell alone,” he said in a 30-second clip the liberal news site Heartland Signal resurfaced Tuesday. Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign later amplified the clip.

I get that people have held on for way too long with the Orange Dumbarse.

But this also shows that people are still being peeled off. It's not a sudden, massive change. But over time, the tide is turning.

Keep playing the long game here.

The amount of former voters and, well, former Republican Politicos that are fleeing is nice to see. It doesn't take much so every one counts!

Amazing. More than 14,000 Swifties last night registered to vote, checked their voter registration, or encouraged their friend to vote yesterday. AND, Swifties for Harris is getting Swifities to register to vote through a FREE Taylor Swift concert ticket. This is why we will win.

There is a lot of stories about the rising tide of voter registrations. I think the biggest group by far is Young Black Women...that is probably good for Trump right?

What I get from that woman's comments is that she'd still be right there with Trump if he could stick to Build The Wall/Deport Them All/Drain The Swamp like he did in 2015/16. Now that he's clearly a senile, rambling mess, she claims she fears another Trump presidency. She's found herself a convenient out without having to renounce any of her fascist views. That still makes her a sh*tbag, and she should feel like one.

I feel like we’re going to have a repeat of 2022 where the Democrats outperformed polling all over the place. I’ve gotten the sense that the pollsters didn’t really learn from that.

They definitely have not. Just look at the polls themselves and the breakdown of who they are talking to...very few have shifted to deal with the problems old school polling have these days. Some have though...Yougov often has a pretty decent sample as does Morning Consult and they both ask so many questions you can really get a nice breakdown of more than just "do you like this person?" like you get in a lot of polling.

I would say trust focus groups but CNN was just caught screwing that up after the DNC.
