Further thoughts. Penalty should have been called on Norby. Super obvious trip. That happens there isn't the second call that put UMD on the penaly kill. And UMD likely wins.

And from another perspective UMD has to do a better job in the face-off circle. I think they lost every important draw in the last minute and a half.

Meaning Roque won every important draw. A big part of the reason she's Wisconsin's MVP.

'Empty net' just works way more often then you'd expect (at least way more than I'd expect)

Wisconsin is just not playing very well right now. I don't know if a weekend off helps that, or not...

Campbell in particular has been sub-par lately. But what a play by Watts in scoring the final goal in the 3 on 3. Not many have the skill to pull that little move and finish off.

Minnesota 2, St. Cloud 1 after a period. Shots are 19-3, which accurately describes the play outside of a successful Husky power play.

ECAC: Clarkson 2-0 and Cornell 3-2 advance in 2 while Yale 4 -Harvard 3OT and Quinny3 -Prinny2 OT go to a game 3 on Sunday. WOW

Bemidji and Duluth headed into a second overtime. Tied 1-1: SOG are BSU 42, UMD 39.

Now headed to OT number three. Shots 49 to 49. Really too bad somebody’s gonna have to lose this one.

Evidently FloHockey has determined that the action is over between UMD and Bemidji. Just cut me off right as they are reviewing a shot by UMD that went off both the crossbar and pipe. Maybe I forgot to pay my fees.

As far as I know it is still tied at 1.

I should have driven to Duluth after the Goph's game today. I'd have seen plenty of Beavers/Bulldogs. Headed to OT #4.

Still tied and headed to a fourth overtime! shots now 67 to 57 Duluth. This game has had absolutely everything! Breakaways, crossbars and pipes being hit, huge penalty kills - crazy!

Just announced this is the longest game in men’s or women’s Duluth hockey history.

Bemidji's Reece Hunt wins it in the 4th OT, 2-1 final. Miss Hunt scored both of Bemidji State's goals and was named the No. 1 Star of the Game. Final SOG were UMD 71/BSU 61!
