Did you even read the article I linked to? The USOC wants their athletes to note any issues and complaints about accommodations directly to the USOC who will deal with it. And they have, get anything fixed that needs fixing, even bringing in US contractors to do the work. That's the right way to handle the "minor" stuff. Not be some kind of blowhard in the press or on a message board.

I hate the opening ceremonies. I think I have since Bob Costas (who I actually like, I know...) and the rest of the broadcasters ruined Salt Lake City because they wouldn't just shut the fu-k up for five fu-king seconds.

Agreed, does nothing for me. Don't think Costas ruined them for me, I just think they're boring.

The worst thing about the Olympics is the US network coverage. Stream the Brit or Canuck coverage if you can find.

Actually the best way to watch something like the Olympics is a network in a language you don't understand.

I just want the broadcast with absolutely zero talking until the athletes enter.

Even if I got everything I wanted, not sure I'd watch it. Unless it was in America again. Then I would soak up all the muricaporn I could.

Parade of Nations is about to start. So happy NBC got told to go screw themselves when they asked to move the US place in the order.
