Aly Raismans parents could possibly be the most annoying thing on tv

I don't know, I think the best thing NBC can do this (and every) summer Olympics is mute Rowdy Gaines' microphone.

A little over the top? It's not one of the death camps.

Some think that there are fates far worse than death. If you read how the site was used after the way, the Soviets trained at that site on how to employ the means of those fates against their enemies.

Blah. Track and Field is boring, hope they switch to something good soon...won't be long before I've moved to Netflix.

I wonder what the other swimmers are thinking when they aren't even halfway done with their lap and Katie Ledecky just waves at them heading in the other direction.

The race for the silver medal was pretty good. I figured the other 7 racers conceded the gold and raced like heck to be on the podium.

Too bad the race wasn't a bit longer. She would have lapped someone.

For me, the oddest image so far was the medal ceremony for the 100 fly. The three favorites -- Phelps, Le Clos, and Cseh -- standing together on the podium, and an unknown guy from Singapore a level up from them.

It might be boring to you, but when Usain Bolt announces in Berlin that he is going to work out for free at such and such an arena and 50,000 people show up simply to watch a workout, well maybe others don't quite agree. Yesterday for the preliminary heats of the 100 there were 45,000 in the stands, and after Bolt's heat there were 4000.

For me it's the most exciting 10 seconds in sports, and there is a lot going on in that 10 seconds.

If you've never seen a video of one of Bolts workouts, you should google it up.

I'd say the two best olympic events are the 100 and the mile.

Not a fan of track and field, but that 10K meter race thing, where the British guy won...what a finish!

Michael Phelps, see you in Tokyo.......as a swimming analyst. No way NBC doesn't sign him to a long term contract. Or at least try.

I think he'll try out, but depending on the tryouts, he'll retire if he is not doing well. He will leave his legacy untarnished, so to speak. Go out on top.

Pass. Running is boring.

Ryan Lochte and his mother say Lochte and and two other swimmers were robbed at gunpoint last night. IOC & USOC deny it.
So a game of to tell the truth unfolding...this'll be fun.
