I would tend to think in that direction, too. But then if things get hairy in the 9th afterwards, there's no big hammer waiting to close it out.

This. If THIS game got to 3 run difference, sure. But 5? No.

Beautiful. I will have about a 90% chance of making it to a TV by then.

Coincidentally perhaps, but the Day of the Dead celebrations end tonight (All Souls Day).

Tribe really missed out not having Sheen run out of the bullpen for the first pitch in any of these games.

Nothing sums up the state of baseball today better than the Cubs delaying their celebration until the video replay showed that the runner was safe.

I'm not too surprised but, that's a lot of Cubs fans for a World Series game 7 on the road.

It appears that way! Very happy for all of Cubs Nation tonight. Going to bed now.

It isn't enough that Theo and Jon have to battle the Curse of the Billy Goat, they have to ward off this jinx as well.

I'm not too surprised but, that's a lot of Cubs fans for a World Series game 7 on the road.

There are a lot of Cleveland season ticket holders who are very wealthy tonight.
