2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

I hope it is not the other issue I am concerned with.
UND is NOTTT getting in over Clarkson lol.

I'm still holding on to my pipe dream of the committee deciding that BC should be ranked #1 over Minnesota because of their lead in RPI. Hey, a man can dream!

I mean to be honest, it would avoid the UM/UW semifinal everyone is worried about...

Clarkson was screwed over once before in favor of Dartmouth so we Clarkson fans never azz-ume anything as a sure thing. ;)
In all fairness Dartmouth did win the head to head and that is what caused the committee to pick the Green.

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

I do think the Clarkson/UND/UMD comparisons are as tight and complex as we've ever had for the last team in -- Clarkson/Dartmouth in 2008 being closer perhaps, though the three-way comparison makes this one tougher. But like I said, I fully expect a decision for Clarkson.

I'd be more than happy with this. I'd rather go through Clarkson/Harvard than RIT/Wisconsin. It's not so much because I think Wisconsin is significantly better than Harvard d(though I do think that they are a bit better) but because it's give us a rematch of last year's title game at Ridder (for the second year in a row), it would give us a chance to play a team we haven't in a while in the semi, and because I really want to see Wisconsin play BC for the contrasting styles and I'd rather the Gophers prevent that from happening in the final.

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

Not sure UMD even enters into the equation since its Clarkson and North Dakota tied with 8 PWR and Cornell and UMD tied with 7 PWR.

I'm not "sure" either, but one could argue that UMD wins the comparison with Cornell.

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

One thing I've forgotten -- do autobid winners count as Teams Under Consideration? I've just never thought of this on the women's side since it has never come up, but certainly it's happened on the men's side. UND did beat RIT twice.

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

LOL 15-8 RIT. Didn't realize the NCAA could also erase losses from a record. :(

Alright, so it's Harvard vs. Quinnipiac Round 4. Congrats on your Hockey East title and ticket to Wisconsin, BU.

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

lol what idiots.

RIT @ 1 Minnesota
Clarkson @ 2 Boston College
Quinnipiac @ 3 Harvard
Boston University @ 4 Wisconsin

Re: 2015 Pairwise Discussion & Predictions

Could the NCAA spend a few more minutes on the show? The intro was longer than the draw.....

If they are following the parirwise to the letter, why are they idiots? Isn't that that all out the all out bracket integrity we desire?
