there seems to be a lot of importance placed on % of goals returning
just an FYI to the math challenged, if the person developing the spreadsheet and starting this thread had simply used total goals returning, it would have more validity
examples:
Team A scored 200 goals last year, they return 150, they lost 25% of their goals, but 150 is a lot of goals, good enough to be a contender
Team B scored 100 goals last year, they return 90, that's a 10% loss, they'll be lucky to win half their games this year
it should be obvious a better indicator is the total goals returning, the more the better
% goals falls under the "statistics don't lie, but the people that use them do" category
