Heh[strike]Ahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Losing to Wisconsin doesn't feel so bad right now.[/strike]
Never mind. I fell for collegehockeystats.net posting a men's game box score in place of the BC women's game.
Heh
BC up 3-0 after 2, 28-9 shots. 4th line getting a lot of minutes again, BC playing well but on cruise control at this point. Maine's never really threatened.
EDIT: Oh my goodness Alex Carpenter with a goal to make it 4-0, she went down at the top of the slot, managed to keep the puck, gather it in, get up, and shoot while being defended.
Sorry had to duck away to get to a restaurant for dinner reservations -- 5-0 BC final wootWhat is the Final score of this game TTT? Haha
Looking for thoughts on Harvard still being ranked number 8. 8-4-1, including losses to 3 unranked teams (Dartmouth, Princeton, UMD). 2-3 in their last 5 games. I'd actually have Princeton over them from the ECAC - same number of losses (only 2 to unranked opponents), 4-1 in last 5 games, and they just beat Harvard Seems like this ranking is based on Katey Stone and history, not current reality.
not that my opinion means anything. I think they're actually # 4. I don't know many teams rosters but I do know theirs...having seen several of them for years now. they have 2 really good lines and, like I said before, a goalie that when she "plays" is the best in the country.
they will be in NH come March.
Very well could be, but do you rate them on future potential or 'what have you done for me lately'? All of those great players still have to prove they're great, on the ice against teams that might not have as much potential, come March.they will be in NH come March.
so pretty much what he33 said. Not that they can't be in nh this spring but, by your own admission you really don't know the competition so you are just justifying your fan-based opinion. That's okay, heck it is down right required given the total lack of data points.
knowing the teams here they are, on paper, the most talented than maybe one team. maybe.
they are better than UMD (saw them) and the rest of the west beats each other up.
just a prediction...from day one...same 4 in NH
You saw them split with UMD, small sample size. Then there were those losses to other unranked teams, also still a small sample but a pattern might be emerging. There is still plenty of season left and on paper they should be there but the game isn't played on paper and on ice they have those inexplicable losses.
