2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Clarkson 4 BU 2 Final

Clarkson scores the final 4 goals of the game to win it.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

The box score from Columbus still thinks there's 17:59 left in the third.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Mankato is holding on, down 2-1 to Duluth in the 3rd, despite being outshot 35-11.

Very tough loss for the Hurst. You outshoot your opponent 32-17 and lose 5-4?! Ouch! That's what happens when you give up 2 PP goals and a shortie but get none of your own. Special teams wins this one.
Oh that's nothing compared to NU's men's team, outshot Bentley 51-11 and lost

I wish collegehockeystats.net would list the women's scores before the men's scores each day instead of the other way around. It would make more sense because the women's games typically start before the men's games each day.

Direct link for you, this is what I use http://collegehockeystats.net/1516/ncaa_w_scoreboard

Gophers up 3-0 ten minutes into the first period. Scores by Cameranesi, Schipper, and Garzone.

collegehockeystats.net has pulled a men's game into the UNH/Merrimack slot, saying that Merrimack won 7-1 in a game that doesn't start for 45 minutes.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Gophers up 3-1 after the first period. Yet again, they gave up a goal in the last 15 seconds of a period, this time to Iafello on the power plahy.

Do exhibition games count? Harvard beats McGill 3-2 at Bright-Landry today.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Pray 4 Hockey Easy [sic]

BC up 4-0 on Maine after 2, shots are 44-7. After 2. 20-1 in the 2nd.

Re: 2015-2016 Division I Women's Hockey Scores & Results

Another second period feeding frenzy for Minnesota. Brandt, McMillen, Brandt, Cameranesi, Reilly, and Pannek all score to make it 9-1 after two.

That was the score of the <strike>slaughter</strike>game last night between Clarkson and Merrimack. I don't want to relive it again.

Meanwhile at Walter Brown, the Clarkson women are leading BU 1-0 early in the 2nd.

And at the Ralph, the Beavers and the ? have now played 85:00 of scoreless hockey this weekend.

Final from Columbus: 11-2.
And it wasn't that close. OSU's second goal was from long range - should have been an easy save.

You don't learn much from these kinds of games, and hopefully you don't pick up bad habits that can hurt you in more competitive contests. At least the Gophers third and forth units got plenty of icetime, and that experience should help them going forward.
