I can feel ur pain CrazyDave, as I drove that route since I came to UNH in 72, leaving the family in NY! But it's also for the parents up on Canada and Minnesota....

End of 2 - RPI 2, Quinny 0 (despite QU badly outshooting the Engineers 36-5)

End of 2 - BC 3, Maine 2 (shots are 40-14)

Middle of the 2nd - Providence 2, Northeastern 1

Now RPI 2, QU 2 eight minutes into the third. Shots are now 49-6 Bobcats.

First WCHA game of the day... End of 1, Minnesota-Duluth 1, Bemidji State 0

North Dakota with an early goal to go up 1-0 on St. Cloud State 5 minutes into the first period.

Scoring change on UMD's goal against BSU -- credit it to Katherine McGovern.


Time for me to get back to my day job for one final hour before I head to dinner and then Ridder Arena.

Michela Cava makes it 2-0 Bulldogs over the Beavers just 15 seconds into the second period.

NE now up 5-2 on Providence. Coyne got her second goal at the 2:22 mark of period 3.

RPI and QU going to overtime tied 2-2. Shots are 55-7 Bobcats.

It's like March madness has started early!! Fun to follow the scores and see some potential upsets.

BC wins 5-2

Wow the refs sure swallowed the whistles, Carpenter was mugged by 3 players shooting at an empty net and they didn't call anything. That's fine, I like free-flowing hockey, but wow lol

UMD 3 - BSU 0 about halfway thru the second.

UMD scored 3 goals in about 2 1/2 minutes of play from late in the first to very early in the second.

What's happening to BSU's stingy defence?

That's the wrong game, I think you're watching UM-Clarkson from a couple years ago.

UMD now up 5-1 in the middle of the third. This is not an auspicious time for Bemidji to crater.
