Penn State shut out RIT 2-0 in game one of their best-of-three series to start the CHA tournament.

It seems some disease has spread across the NCAA officiating ranks, it has severely affected the eyesight of referees. Its not that they are favoring one team or the other but they simply are not calling very obvious penalties. It does not appear to be one or two crews its is every one of them. People are going to get hurt if they don't find a cure for this problem.

The UW - Mankato game today was horribly reffed for the 1st 2 periods, the worst I've seen all year by far. Hanrahan and Gulenchyn.

We has Capocasa and Roth in Minneapolis. I thought they did a fine job in the first and third periods, and that a pair of incompetent imposters reffed the second.

Late in the third period in Hamden, the shots are 46-8 in favor of Quinnipiac. The score, of course, is 1-1.

Penn State sweeps RIT in the first round of the CHA playoffs with a 3-2 win today. They move on to the CHA semifinals against Syracuse next weekend in Buffalo.

In the ECAC

Prinny gets 2 goals in the 3rd to win it 4-3 and knots the series with SLU at 1-1
Quinny gets their 2nd goal on the 68th shot and finally eliminates RPI 2-1 in 2 OT's
Clarkson storms back from a 2-0 deficit and gets the win 5-2 and eliminates Cornell 2-0
Tonight Colgate and Hahvad with Colgate up 1-0 in the series.

St. Cloud State falls to North Dakota 6-1, ending the season with a record of 13-18-4. Not a great season, but it's certainly an improvement over the last few seasons.

BC wins 5-1 over Maine. One Maine goal was errrrrrrrrrrrrr not very good haha.

BC had 66 shots, I'm not sure we've ever done that in regulation.
