RPI scores on the PP in the third period and upsets Clarkson 2-1.
Clarkson dominated the game 5 on 5.
Clarkson outshoots RPI 45-14 but took way too many penalties (some deserved and some not deserved) and it finally caught up with them in the third.

That pretty well sums it up...Knights dominated territorially and in shots (what talent on that team!) but Selander was incredible in net for RPI and I thought that the Engineers played a very disciplined and tight game in their own end, which hasn't always been the case this year. Lack of discipline (especially on that last penalty) was about the only weakness I saw in Clarkson.

Agree whole heartedly with your assessment hab. Some nights you run into a hot goalie and lose. Selander should be the ECAC Goalie of the Week for her performance. I also have to credit RPI. Once they got the lead they played very smart hockey. Kept the puck away from Clarkson much more so then earlier in the game and did a lot of dump outs that made the clock run down.
