I have never, ever...neither gender, no geography, no age...ever seen a team that can come from behind like this gopher team.

Hats off to Wisconsin...I thought they played very well. Just too much firepower from Minnesota.

Solid effort by the Badgers, but had very little left in the tank for the third period. Couple of defensive breakdowns and couple of great goals by the Gophers sealed the deal.

If Minnesota shows up and plays a full 60 minutes of hockey on Sunday, I don't see how they are denied the three-peat.

Glad that the better team won...congrats Minnesota! Quality team with gracious fans...

Wish we could have gotten Baylee up at Clarkson with her sister, but I guess she definitely made the right decision, now with 2 championships and possibly a third two days away.

Minny vs winner of Clarkson-Mercyhurst. Like the 1980 Team Russia vs Team USA only this time I don't think there will be a "Do you believe in miracles" moment. ;)

Baylee is the counsin of Callie, not sister.

I don't know if the Badgers got tired in the third or just too conservative, but I thought they had out-played the Gophers by quite a bit until then. It is ironic some of the pucks that went in, because Leveille made most of the toughest stops. Great game by UW. Much better than at any other time that I saw them this season.

Like the start of the second, the Badgers were on their heels early in the 3rd mainly because of the aggressive play by the Gophers. Then it seemed like they tired as the period progressed. I would say it was a good game by Wisconsin, not great. They represented themselves well, but a Frozen Four loss to the Gophers (no matter how good they are) is still a painful loss.

I didn't think either goalie played particularly well; Leveille giving up goals on long shots and Rigsby not controlling rebounds all that well. Maybe it's the quality of the opponent...

Some have commented on it already but I just wanted to reiterate how good of a play the 5th goal was. From Brandt's touch pass perfectly placed to the great one-timer by Gillanders. Made me jump off the couch.
