I thought the tickets were sold out... That place is empty, why was it so hard to find tickets?

Play by play woman is awful. Very little description of the play and the only players names she seems to know is Leveille, Brandt and Terry.

Because it is sold out...but you can figure there are a fair amount of no shows (team didn't make it) and a pretty good amount that will be arriving late from work, or for the second game. Also, the concourse is chock full of people who prefer to stand along the rail.

Oh, and here is a good one...there are no programs. As a paperless society the NCAA has gone all digital. Need to find ARM and have him drop me some line sheets from the press box.

Gophers really looked lethargic and Wisconsin looks like they are sick of losing to Minnesota.

Minnie had better decide to play physical or forget it.....clearly they are more talented but Badgers are taking them out of their game, taking away their space, as they say....looks like what Canada did to USA....and yes, the play by play is awful but what do you expect from AJ.....

Great start by the Badgers. Had 5-6 quality chances and finally buried one.

Whoever the play-by-play person is, she sounds like she's calling her first game. NCAA couldn't find someone better? Plus, no ability to put up the power play clock. Weak.

Let's see if the Badgers can keep up the pace. So far, so good.

I disliked AJ during the Olympics, but not this badly. It's like they don't even have a roster sheet in front of them. Never called Berg's name on the first penalty. Rarely calling names on shots. Useless.

They should have gotten the woman from Bemidji, the one who does their games and did the tournament last weekend.

And to tell you how much she did not do her homework, she stated that the Clarkson-BC quarterfinal was a rematch of the ECAC Championship and that Clarkson had never defeated BC. Wrong on both accounts. UGH.

Worst part is I was initially happy to hear two women with the call.

Well, the start of this period has gotten off poorly. Inexcusable back-checking. All their good work in the first coming undone within a couple of minutes.

Ditto on the 2 women thought, and add that I like 2 women refs for the game, and their doing well......while I respect how the badgers are playing, basically how PC played UNH,in the old days, I'm looking for the Gophers to wake up, space their line play better, and use their speed.....yea, in essence wake up! And why is it so empty there? supposed to be jammin, with SRO of 1000' to quote Fred Davenport

Totally different Minnesota team has shown up in the second period...
