SCORE.

/drops Lara Stalder
You're allowed to play Stalder as a "D"? I don't know that she's played D all year.

And note, I didn't say that McMillen would play, just that she's on the line chart.

We play by skaters, not position (other than 3 goalies).

Scoring is different for F and D but we officially go off whatever the advanced stats website is.

McMillen is also taking warmups, so I'd say that the odds of her playing are pretty good.

With the result tonight, Ohio State was eliminated from the WCHA regular season title race, meaning the Gophers have locked up home ice for the WCHA playoff quarterfinals.

Sometimes I'm sufficiently happy and relieved after a game for no one being seriously injured, that the actual game results don't matter to me.

I'll be more relieved if everyone is dressed and ready to go for the Maroon and Gold tomorrow.

And shut up, Tony. I recognize that I'm probably being trolled but I'm invoking the Asperger's Defense; it involves sacrificing a knight and dogmatically pushing your pawns forward.

That's my favorite defense too!

these people are fooling themselves into believing they can understand and predict human behavior with an equation, which has been out of favor for nearly 2 full generations now
IOW, they are living in the past (or just too ignorant to know better)

Now *I'm* doing it, of course, but I thought Eeyore's point was that you can't actually predict behavior based on the last games of a season any better than on the season as a whole, not that you *can* predict behavior in any way.

Well I am no longer worried that the WCHA will have one less team that plays cheap dirty hockey when Miller leaves UMD. OSU did a marvelous job of showing they are capable of some of the worst we have seen from UMD/UND. Its a shame too because they played one he11 of a game last night. their forecheck was smothering and it seemed like they had 2 players on the puck carrier all night long. But if they continue to play dirty people are going to be badly hurt.

This is the second OSU game in 2 seasons that my primary focus is hoping a kid doesn't get hurt. One of the games in Columbus last year was the same thing.

There was also the incident three years ago in which Ally Tarr broke Emily West's jaw with a forearm.

Everyone in the building saw what happened to Haley.

I didn't see what happened to Lorence except that she spent the last 50 or so minutes of the game standing on bench. She was still present and observing but she never hit the ice after midway in the first.

Lorence was not on the ice during warmups either.

Lorence was apparently injured last night and tried to go today, but after a shift or two, had to call it a day.
