Congratulations Beavers, well played game and series.

Very exciting at the end, lots of scrambling and near misses! Crowd going wild, both Gopher and Beaver fans. Lots of Beaver fans at the game.

The last time Brown scored exactly 7 goals was Jan 11, 2002 vs Yale.

A few years ago, 2011-12 season, Brown scored ten goals in a game on two occasions......

The last actual D1 game they scored 7 in was 2004 against Union, which those two teams are fighting for the bottom 2 spots in the ecac basically every year anyway.

BU fans were saying they had heard knee, but I had also heard elsewhere it wasn't supposed to be that bad. She's been out a while now now. Sprain maybe? Totally just spitballing though.

Brown up 1-0 on Maine halfway thru 1st period. Goal by Keon

Make that 2-0 Brown Bears over Black Bears. PP Goal by Vella 8 min left in 1st

End of 1st period. Brown 2- Maine 1. Maine Goal by Cook. Shots 11-8

Soft SH goal by Maine. 2-2. Brigham

Halfway thru 3rd period Brown 4 Maine 2 Goals by Conway and Keon

Brown wins 5-2. Micholson finally gets empty netter after 2 hit posts.

RIT 3 - Princeton 2 End of 2nd period Shots 24-18 for Princeton

Both teams playing their backup goalies...Princeton splitting time between #2 and #3 goalies with all 3 RIT goals scored on the 3rd goalie on 9 shots before getting hook

Goals from Northcote, McCrea, Brown for RIT; McKenna and Lloyd for Princeton

Pankowski goal ties the game 3-3. Midpoint of 3nd period now

Princeton wins 4-3 in OT. GWG by Morgan Sly....nice way to get her first collegiate goal.

Union comes back to erase Providence 2-0 lead (goals by Romanchuk and Frade) in 3rd period with goal by Russell. Tomaselli ties with less than 2 min to go.

3-2 Penn St over Colgate halfway through the 2nd period

5-3 Penn St after 2 periods. Rando pulled in favour of Brooks after 5th goal

Ugly game. Slow, sloppy, lots of giveaways and poor defensive play. Shots 21-24

Goals by Bowman (2), Hoenshell, Peterson, Yoxheimer for Penn St.
Goals by DeCaprio, Zalewski, Wilson-Bennett for Colgate--all freshmen

5-4. PPG by Kueber

Final 6-4 Penn St. Another goal by Hoenshell on a terrible defensive giveaway. Colgate outshot Penn St 36-26

Mercyhurst 5-1 over 'Cuse. Closer game than score reflects. 2-1 until last 9 minutes.

I saw Hoenshell play when she was in TX. thought she was a dynamo that would work well at UNH. Don't think I was wrong. Trillim - why are you watching that game? Inquiring minds want to know!!!
