Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?
Yeah, most of the courses here in Colorado do similar things (i.e. $15-20/cart).
I played my first real round (played 9 holes early in January) of the year a couple of weeks ago, and despite not having really played in about 6 weeks, I shot an 89, including a front nine 41. Had it not been for shanking a 5-iron into the green-side bunker, and then using 3 shots to get out before 2-putting for a triple bogey on the 8th hole, I would have had a very serious chance at breaking 40 on a nine for the first time ever. It didn't hurt that I played the first 5 even par.
As for weather, I'll agree with manurespreader...I'll take cool and playable over hot and unbearable every day of the week

I've noticed that around here (Michigan) the courses keep the greens fees low, but charge like 15 dollars for a cart, so I've started walking more. I haven't done it when it's 90 degrees out though. Still our greens fees are particularly low which I like. You can play a championship course for 50 bucks or less.
