2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

If I'm in the country I will attend the Ryder no question. Once in a lifetime event and some of the most electric golf you can find.

I'm signed up for the lottery for tickets. I think it would be great fun to see a Ryder Cup.

Spieth’s combined 54-under-par score in the majors is the lowest in history, breaking by one shot the record Woods set in 2000.

Spieth's last hole was telling. The outcome was in the bag, but was still carefully lining up his last putt. That kind of calm and discipline will take him far.

Eh. Phil did it back to back rounds last year @ the Barclays. One reason I like Phil. He puts the ball in the same places I do.

But do you recover and put it on the green from those same places? :D

I believe she's made more money golfing this season than Tiger

Woods is now tied for the lead at -11 with 3 holes to go. Tied with Fargo, North Dakota native Tom Hoge.

Re: 2013 Golf Season - Does it leave you scratching?

Let me preface this with the fact that the struggles were FAR too ugly for this to be the case.

I've had some thoughts through this whole struggle ordeal with Tiger that it would be totally lulz if he came out the other side and was like, "hah, who's washed up, done for, etc?" Like the ultimate troll of the golf world. But as noted above, his ugly rounds were almost weekend hack-like.

That said, wouldn't it be incredible if he DOES pull the rabbit out of the hat this weekend and makes the playoffs? This isn't an A+ field, but there are quite a few pretty solid names playing.

Golf has some players who can pick up the flag now, but it's still better when Tiger is playing at a high level. But I don't see him putting together 4 good rounds; his consistency just isn't there yet.

He moves today, but to the wrong neighborhood. Wish it were otherwise.

The missed putt on 18 keeps him out of tomorrow's final pair, but he looks like the Tiger we came to love....or hate. :D

Admittedly, I'm kind of excited to see Tiger in red while in contention. It's been a long, long time.

It also looks that he pretty much is required to win to make the FedEx playoffs. Solo 2nd doesn't appear to be enough with the majority of outcomes.

Bye bye Woods after that triple on 11. Once again struggles on the weekend. Not that I'm bummed or anything.

DL III wins one for we old farts and gets back to The Masters for the first time in six years!
