I was going to ask if Cornell was changing its mascot to a panther, but this final surname is a nice touch.

Although not quite as good as when they had former Wisconsin coach Tracey Cornell (now DeKeyser).

I would have thought that after these three recruits Cornell would change their name to the Big Orange. "De Bruin", "VoorHeis" and "Veerman" are all Dutch Origin names. De Keyser (The King) can be Dutch as well.

I would have thought that after these three recruits Cornell would change their name to the Big Orange. "De Bruin", "VoorHeis" and "Veerman" are all Dutch Origin names. De Keyser (The King) can be Dutch as well.

The two Michigan girls are very talented and will both score goals - good hands (McLean is small, but has always scored despite that because of her speed). I haven't seen Lemieux play in a couple of years, but she is big and tough to move out of the slot (like her dad was) and consequently used to score a lot down low on rebounds and tips. I don't imagine that has changed much.

Also, a lot of the Canadian recruits are yet to be known so they may have some other kids in the class that just haven't been identified yet.

Possible but BC hasn't been known to recruit very many Canadians. I can only think of one off the top of my head in Lindsay Wright (though I'm sure I'm missing a couple).

BC coach adding Canadians? Not very likely...why should she when she can get all the US talent she needs right at home. Mich girls are both good and I agree with the above post. As for SL, I have seen her play recently. Big tall kid. Very good shot [no tip-ins...she just uncorks the cannon]. Not the fastest skater or hardest worker, but has talent and if coaches can motivate her she probably has a decent upside. Worth taking a flyer on for sure.

They don't seem to have selected as much this year for some reason.... May need to adjust their approach - or they decided nobody else was worth the time or scholarship given their current team.
