BC 1, Princeton 1
ND 2, Minn 0 halfway through the first period.
Just 2 minutes later.. on powerplay.... ND 3, Minn 0. W-O-W.
And a 3 goal lead is the worse lead in hockey. Teams very often let off the gas pedal. Gophers get next goal watch out.downside for und, its the 1st period.
No way UND plays any less intensely, or differently the rest of the way. It will have to be a monster Gopher effort to come out on top.And a 3 goal lead is the worse lead in hockey. Teams very often let off the gas pedal. Gophers get next goal watch out.

When was last time Gophers down 3 goals?
I've been around this game for 45 years and coached it for over 25 years. I've seen it happen many many times. Not saying it will but would not be surprised to see the Gophers come back.No way UND plays any less intensely, or differently the rest of the way. Now 3-2 middle of 2nd. Two power play goals by UM.
Like I was saying about a 3 goal lead.
I go by my own experiences in playing and coaching. But thanks for that info. Here's an interesting article about the "most dangerous lead in hockey"... http://www.puckscene.com/2011/08/the-most-dangerous-lead-in-hockey-fact-or-myth/
I'm not disputing the potential for Gophers getting back in the game on the scoreboard. I don't necessarily believe it will be due to a change in the UND strategy, execution or resolve. My only intended opinion.I've been around this game for 45 years and coached it for over 25 years. I've seen it happen many many times.
