Symptomatic of the Frozen Four's problems in the Tampa Bay area is today's Bradenton Herald. Bradenton is the city south of Tampa Bay, but definitely part of the Tampa media market. The only mention in today's Herald or indeed all week is the Sports TV listing for the games.

No wonder tickets are still available for today's games.

On the boob tube this morning, the Frozen Four mentioned but no one had ever heard of Union or Ferris State.

Event organizers are hoping to 'spread the word' all across the country about their exciting new sport. Sounds like fun."

Gameday!

Finally we get to watch some more College Hockey, looking forward to watching BC play the Gophers tonight, I like the way they play the game(even though they trap);) I hope whoever wins tonight goes on to win the NC.

I just hope that Union blows Ferris right out of Florida and back to Big Rapids.... Everyone in the CCHA knows their easy schedule got them to where they are... :D

Ferris was in the same cluster as Western this year = common conference opponents. If you want to gripe about Ferris' non-conference schedule, a TOUGHER non-conference schedule (Western?) should prepare a team better for a playoff run. If you want to whine about Denver or Cornell in the tourney being "easy", check their stats in comparison to Western's.

...It's a great day for hockey :)
