I saw Minny play at Denver. Minny is pretty good, very fast. And... they trap.
BC has better trappers. Kyle Rau hates the trap.
Gophers will have a chance if they can trap Jerry York in the locker room.

Congrats to BC. You weathered our rushes, you got some bounces, but in the end, you flat out beat us. It was a helluva run for MN, I'm disappointed, but yet still proud of what they did this season.

Wow BC is awesome! There trap defense absolutely awesome, almost NHL like just incredible. Everytime the Gophers starting some momentum BC is there to step on their neck. All of us Gopher fans were not kidding we didn't have a chance! Best team we have seen all year. Best trap team we have seen all year. Best seniors we have seen all year. The super young Gophers looked inexperienced it was like men vs. boys. I am dead serious here really impressive.

Frankly I don't know how a team can keep so many upperclassmen. UND, DU and undoubtedly MN are losing all their good sophomores.

I heard an interview with Jerry York on the local Boston NPR station and he said his philosophy was to take the best high school/prep school kids who are 18-20 years old instead of taking the 20-25 year old JR players and work on developing them into great hockey players. I would think that would make them stay for 2-3 years versus 1-2. I had not known BC was following that philosophy until I heard that interview. He also has been on the forefront of the small skilled forwards who can make plays but might not fit the NHL mold like Johnny Geudreau and Nathan Gerbe.
