Fourth time in five seasons that the CCHA will be the bridesmaid, all in an underdog role.

09 - BU-Miami
11 - UMD-Michigan
12 - BC-Ferris St.

Domination very similar to the 2010 Frozen Four in Detroit.

Didn't Wisconsin kill their semifinal opponent in 2010 before getting beat in the final? I can't remember who it was.

I remember just thinking it was strange that both teams that made the final won by such a large number in the semi.

I think the big difference tonight was the experience. I could easily see MN back in the FF next year. Congrats on a great season!

BC is head and shoulders above everyone else. I told a UMD fan at work that before the regionals, and I stand by that now; they capitalize on their oddman chances with ruthless efficiency, and their goaltending is lights-out.

MN had a chance in the first half of the game; they were generally carrying the play, and they had more chances. However, when they failed to convert on them, and BC popped that 2nd goal, that made it pretty clear what the outcome was going to be. The Eagles are a complete team and will very likely be hoisting the trophy on Saturday night unless Ferris plays the game of their lives and the goalie has a few horseshoes up his *** for the inevitable two on ones that BC will get.

And as for Commie's comments: agreed. BC took our best shots, then showed us what seasoned talent was. And proceeded to destroy us.
