2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Seriously nobody will care if BC wins except for a few db's here and their team and alumni. College hockey needs a good story, a good example to inspire the masses. Not Boston College. You have Kreider, one marginal NHL prospect for the 1s place Rangers. Mark my words no disrespect to him or anything against his character but he'll never amount to anything in the NHL. Ferris State wins. I'll bet 2K on it straight up

Good luck with that.

there's something wrong with you man.

merrimack would've liked to have won the hockey east championship vs BC last year, and would've liked to beat notre dame in the first round and move on in the ncaa's... it would've been a great story, too. doesn't mean it happens, chief.

Fascinating

How many paint chips do you digest daily?

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Looks like you're going to see BC at least 5 times in the next few seasons (tentatively scheduled) as York said yesterday BC is about to ink a 4-year deal with MN plus next year's Mariucci Classic.
I'm all in favor of increasing the difficulty of the non-conference schedule.

Playing the Sacred Hearts of the world does not help and is not entertaining in the least.

Which NHL team do you scout for again? I missed that in your last post.

Maybe you can tell us how special you are because you have one more chromosome than the rest of us.

I agree. Regardless of the schedule at least this year Minnesota made it to the Frozen Four so it really didn't matter.

The good news is I don't believe you will have to edit your sig tag unless you want to add runner up 2012. Merrimack really got screwed in that game and lost to a fluke goal and then De Costa their key player went to NHL and thought he could be successful there. Very few D1 players transition to be good NHL players, but I still love watching NCAA D1 hockey much more! Here is a clip of Stefan being Stefan in the NHL

Honestly, it's one of those things I think helps BC do what they do. York loves to get a tough schedule together; the more on the road the better even (plus who wants to come to BC in October and play in the Conte slush?). It's been working. I really do think it pays dividends in March. Of course if you lose to a bunch of good NC teams, you're going to get buried in the PWR with the TUC beating and lose COps as a result of simply losing NC games.

Playing Sacred Heart is just a no-win proposition for a team like BC or MN (aside from maybe stat-padding).

Can we get a .gif of that nasty two-hander on Arnold and then the punch to the face?

Maybe we could get you something to remove that sand while we're at it...

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Ahhh Southie.....I and everyone else for that matter couldn't care less whatever you have to say. No extra chromosome just a few dozen IQ points on you chief, in fact you should be embarrassed for what you wrote because stating that I have an extra chromosome makes zero sense and just further exposes you as a dim-witted sloth.

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Unfortunately due to athletic department budget demands, MN cannot schedule many road games. After the BTHC forms, it'd be nice if MN played 18 home / 16 away (8 and 6 for non-conference), but that's a pipe dream because the AD relies on them for $$$ and pretty much forces a 20 game home slate.

Whatever it is York is doing out there, it's clearly working. With the plague of early defections to the pros afflicting every big program, what he's done is all the more amazing.

Now it's time to wait nervously for the inevitable NHL departures (if Bjugstad stays, I'll be surprised).

Cheer up, now you have another WCHA fanbase to cry with when it comes to 5-goal beatdowns in the FF at the hands of BC.

See, now it's not as embarrassing now that it happened to another team!

Yeah I'm sure a 6-1 score in the semis is familiar for some of Minnesota's friends...

Meh. I was over it the next day.

We're 1-1 against BC in natty title games. Scores don't matter, only trophies.

PS - Shhhh! Don't tell anyone, but I was rooting for you guys tonight. Just don't think you need to keep whining over a cheap shot. I mean, did your player die?

PPS - Go FSU! (obviously)
