2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

BC trapped Thier way to victory, what a shock
Now Minniesoda fans know what us HE fans know, BC is men amongst boys

bjustad, haula and rau hate the trap so much they didnt even bother to show up and play against it

Oh so I am one of those YY chromosome super aggressive males... now it all makes sense Carmine Scarpaglia - thank you so much you da man! Lets share a bowl of pasta sometime, my treat.

Pretty sure what you have is called Trisomy 21...also known as Down Syndrome

Meh. I was over it the next day.

We're 1-1 against BC in natty title games. Scores don't matter, only trophies.

PS - Shhhh! Don't tell anyone, but I was rooting for you guys tonight. Just don't think you need to keep whining over a cheap shot. I mean, did your player die?

PPS - Go FSU! (obviously)

In all fairness:

1. Had we not been so thoroughly embarrassed in 2010, or if our team had a season worth remembering more than once in the last five years, we'd probably be starting "Hey Goldy, You Blew It" threads.

2. That slash was amazingly cowardly and disgraceful. I don't care what team he was on.

That is because they are all future millionaires worried about playing at the next level.;) Thanks for admitting BC traps it made my night.

Good one! So its amazing that I not only interpreted what you wrote but also have a confirmed diagnosis of Down's Syndrome... I just never knew!

Don't waste your time responding to him; winning a single NCAA game against NMU was his team's national title.

And he failed at hooking up with a girl who demanded he take her home.

Really? They have won a NCAA game? Who knew.

Re: 2012 Frozen Four: Union vs. Ferris State; Minnesota vs. Boston College

Why would anyone complain about BC trapping? If anything, it kept the score closer.

I would rather be entertained by a beautiful game played correctly over winning with playing the trap. I have witnessed the Wild play for over 10 years, enough said.

Dunno what universe that didn't happen in.

Also, figures that you'd turn my really obvious troll post into a personal shot.

I don't think we'd be starting threads, but I will admit that our shared experience has tempered my finger pointing and smirking. To be honest though, I'm just relieved.

It's bad enough if BC wins, but we only have to deal with their dooshy fans every once in a long while. The dooshy Gopher fans are essentially in the family, so to speak, loosely, and we have to see their smirking ugly peroxided heads all too often. Minny winning is intolerable.

As far as the slash, these things happen in hockey. Every team has done it and every team will do it again. Just get tired of it being the end of class in hockey as we know it every time it does.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm not meaning to imply that ALL Gopher fans are "dooshy." Just the dooshy ones are.

Then don't troll and your feelings won't get hurt.

Oh right. Two wrongs make a right. I'll remember that one.

You know my rules. Don't poke the bear. Win and lose with class. And if you cross me, well, all bets are off. Don't poke the bear.

Do you have the ability to not go full-retard when someone takes a shot at the Gophers after a loss?

Some fans always have to find something to complain about - perhaps in a misguided effort to diminish the opponent's accomplishment.

All strategies that don't break the rules are valid, no matter how boring they are. BC trapped because they got the lead. Plus it's not like the trap is impossible to overcome if your team is fast and can pass quickly and accurately. When MN plays well, it certainly has the personnel to do that. Unfortunately, they were a bit off tonight - they had some streaks of good play, some average play, and some downright atrocious play (3rd period...ugh).

Milner did his best impression of a brick wall until MN started making mistakes and BC capitalized. Such is life.
