Make that 41% for Newt, 26% for Mitt. Good gravy.

I want a brokered convention so bad. Imagine Paul demanding the Patriot Act rolled back in exchange for his delegates.

This is only interesting if Romney blows Florida somehow. At that point, I have no idea what the Republicans plan would be. Probably a brokered convention where they grab Jeb Bush or some such insanity.

Perry
Huntsman
Paul
Jeb Bush
Palin
Trump
Cain/Colbert

All 4 stay in, nobody gets 50% in any primary, and we get an interesting summer.

Though if Newt keeps doing well, does VA suddenly do a re-thought and put him on the ballot??? Ah politics.....

It's going to be funny if Gingrich starts rolling and they don't put him on the ballot in Virgina. And IMO they shouldn't.

Now we have 3 different winners in the first three contests. Florida is huge.

Anyone with half a brain could see Fig winning this one from a mile away, with his surge after the last two debates and most of the Confederacy looking for anybody but one of them cultist Mormons.

Florida is only half huge with the punishment factor.

This is kind of surreal. The Republicans spent most of the past 3 years doing everything in their power to make Obama a one term president, from the Tea Party telling corporations not to hire until Obama was gone, to McConnell's mouth, to outright obstructionism on everything to keep the economy sputtering.

All that, and no one thought to groom a candidate that the party could agree on and get excited for. Whoops.

A good 57% of the vote (Santorum + Gingrich) went against Romney yesterday. I'm not counting Paul crackpots who only follow his cult. All we need is Newt to take Florida and hello looooong slog to the convention.
