Really? Then the Republican Party is ridiculous cause that's the same argument they make on abortion, gay marriage, gay rights, Handguns, etc. etc. etc.
Not the same thing. No law makes you get an abortion, enter into a gay marriage or purchase a handgun. While I happen to agree with it, the bottom line is the health care mandate makes you do something, as opposed to a law stopping you from doing something. That's what Romney signed into law in Mass.
And it's clear even President Obama (Bush II clone 3rd term) believes lower taxes = job creation.

So, you're saying there are no other laws that make you do something? Maybe if you're a hermit living in the mountains off the land. Otherwise there are tons of laws that force you to do something.
Scoobs I need you to adjust the frequency on your tin foil helmet because I think some feedback is rattling around in your skull. I asked about the health insurance mandate. You brought up abortion, gay marriage and guns. I said the health mandate isn't the same thing because those other three examples aren't requirements to partake in those activities. Are you up to speed now?
MW: ... is the White House spokesman correct -- or do you agree with the assessment that a lot of this bluster really reflects a certain sense, if not of desperation, than of vulnerability on its part?
KS: Well, Iran has this schizophrenia because it simultaneously has delusions of grandeur and profound insecurity. You could call it the Sarah Palin of nations.
I would hope that my fellow liberals will be magnanimous enough not to ridicule you if you admit that they duped you. It's happened before. Obama duped us into thinking he was a liberal...now he's just (barely) the lesser of two evils.
It's a big step to admit that you were deceived. We're here to help you.
I'm hoping someone can explain the "stillborn outrage" to me in a way that makes sense.
What I understand happened at some point in the past is that the Santorums had a stillborn baby in the hospital, then followed the "American Pregnancy Association" guidelines on how to deal by taking the body home to introduce to the other kids, spend some time singing to, etc. It's the way thousands of couples have been able to deal with losing a baby.
Anyway, the liberals have gone into full attack mode about how "inappropriate" and "really, really, weird" this episode was. First Alan Colmes, now Rachel Maddow and Eugene Washington are mocking the family in the liberal media about how terrible it was.
I honestly don't get it. I have family members who have gone through very similar stillborn experiences, and they seem to me should be kept personal and blame-free, even if the family is that of a politician. Is there any reasonable explanation for using it as a basis for attack politics? Is anything private to a liberal?
liberals?

Maybe it's just a couple selected comments blown completely out of proportion by the right wing echo chamber? Because that certainly would make sense from the people who brought us "the war on Christmas" and "Obama's war on religion."I'm hoping someone can explain the "stillborn outrage" to me in a way that makes sense.
Is this the late-term abortion that saved his wife's life? Do you not see his blatant hypocrisy that a late-term abortion was fine to save his own wife, but if it was your wife or daughter it should be illegal (not to mention that it's a one-way ticket to Hell) and that he campaigns rather vociferously on this issue. Mocking him and his family for what the family did is wrong; but bear in mind that if he had his way if a woman was in the same situation as his wife, she would die. That might explain a little of the outrage...
I voted for Obama and I never thought he was a "liberal" (maybe social liberal lean) . And I've been saying since as early as 2009 that he's a Bush2 clone running a 3rd term. By every action and inaction his taken since inauguration.
It's funny but OWS isn't just protesting against crony capitalism, corrupt congress (<10% popular), but also against President Obama (the sitting power in office). So when talking heads talk about garnering OWS anger for 2012 re election and embracing it... i find it hilarious.
M (money) = J (jobs) x U (unemployed) ... question is how much velocity and acceleration you achieve with various sources of Energy (money). And where to collect this Money (energy) and how to utilize it. directly or indirectly. fiery burst of a rocket launch, simmering burn of an ion propulsion.
Track, shmack, it's cool. Also we're eventually going to get to the best-named derivative of motion. While your comparison of economics to projectile physics has been intersting, I don't think you're going down the right track at all.
thank you. I was not at all aware it was an abortion.
You might want to read a little more about the particular procedure in question as the fetus aborted was, according to some sources, suffering a fatal defect. I have not read the bill Santorum sponsored to see if it contains any exceptions for such an eventuality. If not, it is a clear case of hypocrisy on his part.
