While we certainly had the upper hand (Evers is coached by future Sioux Recruit Chris Wilkie's Dad), it's nice to see North Dakota land a player that had interest from some other top notch schools.
I know that this is basically what every recruit says, but I particularly enjoyed this wording...especially because the kid is 15-16 years old.

At least the deer hunting season doesn't open until the following weekend, so you'll be spared the sight of a dead dear tied over the hood of a '98 Oldsmobile driving down the street (no, seriously).
You're probably not going to find a lot to do, at least in the traditional sense. Grand Forks is a pretty small city. There's a UND football game in town that day. You could probably score some tickets fairly cheap, and if you just show up ahead of the game there may even be tailgaters willing to share some pretty good food with you.
At least the deer hunting season doesn't open until the following weekend, so you'll be spared the sight of a dead dear tied over the hood of a '98 Oldsmobile driving down the street (no, seriously).

The Parrot's Cay is a beer and burger bar on the south end of town that specializes in creole cooking, I highly suggest getting the Parrot Boil with shark style wings. My friends and I go there every home series and it never disappoints (they open at 4:30pm and I suggest getting there right away so that you can sit). You probably will want to take a tour of the rink and you can find the times for their tours on the REA website. Depending on where you are staying buses run from a number of bars and restaurants to and from the game and that is the best way to travel. Have fun and enjoy the games.

I don't know the recruiting landscape well enough to make a guess as far as how far "interest" goes along, but the kid was only 15-16 years old when he made his visits. Again, I don't know the recruiting landscape intimately, but I wouldn't imagine many 15-16 year old kids are making a lot of visits to colleges.
Either way, it is a big get, and I'm sure the school's on that list would have been pleased to get him. That being said, we'll see how well he develops, and he is a 2015 or 2016 recruit...if he continues to grow to potential, I'm sure MJ will be after him as well.

Really, it comes down to how you define "women". Also, the "women" they do have should be judged on a North Dakota scale to be perfectly fair. A Minnesota 3 could easily be a North Dakota 8 or 9. You just have to consider where you are before put on number on the "women" and you also have to decide how low you will settle.
