Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Starting working on your LaPantaing. :D

Oh, I can do that. If GLM is out here for the F4, he's the pro, though. He did play-by-play in '08. :D I know a link of the audio was posted at some point in time. The teams were dubbed the Baconators and the Vagalanche.

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

All right, I'm in. Definite. W or D. If there's a lack of backwards skating people, I can certainly do it. My d-league team demoted me from D to RW because of poor performance, though.

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

Sadly, I'm an "Organizer Only" this year, same as bostonewe. I will be in St. Paul for the semi-finals. But current plans call for me to fly out Friday morning, and that isn't likely to change.:(

Barring a sellout, I'll buy one share of the icetime. goldy 331 & bostonewe, please include me in the count for that purpose.

Last but not least, e-mail sent.

I think I'm just going to be a fan this year. I don't know about HuskyNation, though. If all goes well, we'll both be hung-the-f-over. (My bachelorette party is Friday night. So bummed you won't be there, 'ewe! P.S. HINT to Brent and Co... HN needs a night out.)

Besides... sounds like I was too much of a scorekeeper (can't help I've been a paid one for too long) last year to volunteer for that duty again this year. :p ;)

Like I mentioned in another thread, I think we will be having a fun night on Friday night, if I remember right from when we've talked about it previously, I think we'll be doing a Minneapolis night. Maybe start downtown and end the night at Gasthof's kinda thing.

Re: 2011 Posters' Game - St Paul

E-mail sent. I'm "probable" for now. My wife works that weekend, which means I have Daddy Duty. If I can find someone to watch the kids that day, I'm in.

I signed up as a goalie, but I can also skate out if need be (either forward or defense).

Nye's then Gasthof's?????? Ohhh, that could be bad. :D

Possible
Center/Wing

Not sure on the odds of me being able to make it yet (same goes for the Final Five this year, unfortunately).
Down in AZ, my hockey equipment is still in WI (although it might be down here by the time of the F5/F4), etc. Plus I haven't skated since Oct. Ouch, I miss it.

Bring the kids. Good for them to run around an arena unsupervised, give em sticks and a tape ball. Or my 13 yo can watch them. ;)

2011 USCHO Posters' Game
St. Paul, Minnesota

ON-LINE ROSTER
First Edition
Last Updated 2/18/11
*** This post is no longer being updated. See Post #285 ***

With the initial wave of registrations in, here's what we've got. Obviously there's room for more players. Players from outside the local area are strongly encouraged to join the fun; let's keep this a national event!

Note that I will update this post as new registrations come in. Then, roughly once a week until the FF, I'll post a new edition. This will have the effect of keeping the roster page front and center on the thread.

bostonewe, keep looking over my shoulder. Let me know if there are any errors or omissions on the on-line version. The current list:

Definitely Playing
1. goldy_331
2. pyschoairiq

All good. Note that I categorized XYZ as definite and Hockey Bum as probable based on their comments on this thread.
