No suspension for Ference after Halpern ran into him and head butted his shoulder.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

And people wonder why it is hard for anyone outside of Boston to cheer for the Bruins. You guys are lucky Philly is worse. Barely.

Yeah. I don't like Ference but could not see how he could get anything for just standing there and letting Halpern run into him.

Hopefully Ference can repeatedly run into a few Scumbags in the next series with the same result. :D

Bad decision:

That is one brave individual.

The only place I have ever been to the bathroom at the stadium/arena and I've been rooting for the visiting team was Buffalo and I was a Rangers fan. Not too many issues and it wasn't a playoff game, so that helped.

Let's run down all the teams on USCHO where someone has posted that it's hard to root for them. I lost count at 567.

Exactly. Because everyone else's fanbase, with the exception of Philly, as noted, is so perfect.

Who does? I certainly couldn't care less. Anyway, what do Minnesota fans do? Volunteer to hold it for the opposition?

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

I have a friend who has connections in Philly...and may be able to score Game 7 tickets. I'd have to take the train down to see that, if the series goes that far.

**** holding at Marriucci? That's a slam dunk for some rogue UND, Wisconsin or tUMD fan...

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

You guys are right. You all bring up valid reasons why everyone should act like an idiot/doosh to everyone else.

The chanting/insults don't irritate me, it's the shoves he receives when he is trying to leave.

Meh, we all know Goldy is a little light in the loafers, although its great that fanbase is finally coming out of the closet. Good for them.
