Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Jack Edwards is the most biased announcer in the NHL next to Rick Jennerette. What a joke...

Joke is being kind. Why am I not able to watch HNIC on Center Ice instead of having to listen to this ***** clown

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Wasn't the dominating, convincing victory I wanted. But staving off the Canadiens at Centre Bell is very good. The Bruins have life.

Just in case you were wondering if Kunitz has improved any since his time at Ferris State...

No.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

I don't think Tampa-Pittsbugh is going to get it done for me. Might have to stay up for Detroit-Phoenix...

What the F was Kunitz thinking??!!

Jesus..That's atleast a game or two. Probably more.

No.

I remember hearing people complain about him in 2003. Then I finally got to see him in action at the regional in Mariucci. He almost made me cheer for UND. Hated him ever since. He made me laugh when he pulled Burns hair and expected to not be owned in return, though.

Looks like a full house in Glendale. Folks in the 'Peg aren't happy!

I see Franzen's wearing a shield tonight.

What the F was Kunitz thinking??!!

Apparently he wasn't. That's the kind of crap you expect in the SPHL and other lower minor leagues.

Doan talked to Engblom about controlling emotion. Important at this time of year.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Obviously a great time for Engblom to be praising Bryzgalov. Even if it wasn't his fault.

Cripes. This could get out of head quickly.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Rick may be a homer, but I like him unlike that colassal *** Edwards.

Rick's not one of my favorites, but I agree with you completely. I caught HNIC's highlights on NHL Network. Bob Cole may be 77 or 78, but he's still got it.

As for Edwards yelling at Hamrlik to GET UP -- Foster Hewitt and Danny Gallivan were spinning in their graves. I've been watching hockey for more than 50 years and I've never heard anything like that, at least at the NHL level.

I'm going to end up with a WCF of Detroit-Vancouver and be forced to root for meteors again.

They were before my time, but I remember CBC ran classic HNIC during the lockout and I got to appreciate them. I'm also a student of broadcasting history so I like that kind of stuff.

Sam Rosen is my favorite, but I still think Cole can bring it like you mentioned, Steve.
