The Gophers have one 1 NC about every 10 years since the WCHA started - the odds are stacked every season MacNaughton or not.

Couple of great things from this video:
1) I'm two rows in font (old style jersey and hat) two rows in front
2) someone yells "now blast it!" just as Schmidt unleashes the howitzer
3) Keith must be clairvoyant to capture that.

I was behind the goal where the puck bounced off awkwardly, that play looked promising and was!

Congrats to MN on winning the cup. They showed they were the WCHA's best team over the course of the season.

From section 21, it was so loud after both goals we could not hear the MN RAUser until the Minnesota part started. Crowd was ready and primed to cheer hard both nights.

Big improvement on defensive effort Saturday - tie ups, coverage, support, blocked shots....

Congrats to the seven seniors(out of a recruited class of eleven). Will be a small senior class next year.

Gophers were the only team in the country to record 20 conference wins.

"video has been removed by user"?? didn't get a chance to see it. Wanted to see what Grey looks like (if I could figure out what 'two rows in font' means. Were you TIMES NEW ROMAN or Ariel Black (or I guess you would be grey) or just Comic Sans? )

Will the Gophers play at 7PM Friday night if they beat UAA? I see they are selling the sessions separate and not together this year, unless you buy the whole tourney package.

Umm. As far as I recall the sessions have always been separate tickets.

The Gophers being the #1 seed means they will play the night game, and not just because they are the Gophers (this time).

I thought last year I watched both UMD-Bemidji State and CC-UAA on 1 ticket... hmm.

Mariucci was so loud on Saturday! That is the loudest I have heard it since I started going to games! We ended up having to scalp tickets, but it was the best money I've spent in awhile. I would have waited until puck drop but I didn't want to miss the seniors and I honestly didn't want to miss a minute of the game. As it turned out, we should have just waited until the 3rd period.:D

What an incredible way to end the season! The real season starts this weekend!:cool:

I don't often say nice things about the gophers.:) But I was glad to see your seniors taking possession of the MacNaughton, not avoiding it like the plague like the hostile and abusives did last year.
