Apparently our friends in green have never heard of the Bad News Bears. Whatever. Hope the Sioux spend more time in the sand than on the grass this offseason.

It's always an interesting thread when the Sioux and Gophers get together, I for one will miss playing you guys in the WCHA and hope we can somehow still play regularly.

Congrats to the Gophers who played desperate offense and defense for 60 minutes tonight for a great win. I think most fans expected a closer game, but UND didn't seem to have their legs compared to last week. Nice to see Taylor Matson break out of a 17 game scoring slump and the overall the third line performance tonight (Condon, Matson, Boyd) was impressive. Kyle Rau also really elevated his offensive and defensive game this weekend. Early in the season one of the question marks was the Gophers youth on D, but give credit to Mike Guentzel who has completely turned the defense around compared to recent years. Wow...only two more wins to go for a NCAA National Championship. Go Gophers!

Needless to say, MN had better bring its "A" game against BC as goals will be at a premium.

Because their "D" always gets an "E" for effort? If they don't, they'll get an "F" for skill, and the Gophers will pile up the "G"s as the Eagle fans get the "H" e double hockey sticks out of the arena. "I" would love to see that happen..."JK". :p:D:D

I said it in the other thread, but thought I would come over here and reiterate my congratulations to Minnesota on the victory today. The Gophers were the better team this season, and especially in the game tonight. I'll be cheering on the Gophers down in Tampa, and hopefully they can take down BC

Some nice looks at the goal scoring by the Gophers. Condon had hot wheels on his breakaway...wow.
