Marc Savard has waved his NTC and has reportedly said he wants to go to TOR or OTT. Intersting. Savard for Kaberle?

Tim Thomas just waived his NTC within the last hour or so.

But it makes complete sense for Philly if they can afford him. Philly hasn't had a good goaltender since Hextall.

I'm guessing Wash doesn't have the cap space for Nabby? Because he would make sense there too.

HUGE longshot...But what about the Islanders? Is there anyway they can shake DiPietro's contract without having to eat the whole thing?

While trying to imitate the great success that DP has led the Isles to, I expect that when Wilson steps down, Milbury will take over...if he hasn't already.

Agreed. Being 1 win away from the Conf. Finals and getting the #2 overall pick...cant complain. Justin Florek the 5th round pick is a tall, physical player that can score. 35 points in 41 games in his soph. campaign on NMU.

Meh. The contract itself works as a No-Trade-Clause, because no one outside of Atlanta would pay him that kind of money. I think the consensus among Sharks fans is to pull a Tonya Harding on his knee and force them to put him on LTIR and free up the space that way.
