Not a horrible period.....

But they need to get more traffic in front to beat Leighton, who is seeing the puck and confident. But the Habs don't exactly have a team that does well getting to the net.

They could use a guy like John LeClair....the role that Latendresse was supposed to play (and never did, at least in MTL).

* MAB may not be the reason the team is losing, but he's a lot closer to that end of the spectrum than he is to helping them win.

* Tomas Plekanec seems intent on playing himself out of some money this summer.

* Habs PK has abandoned them. Confidence is shot. Philly just setting up in front of Halak and banging away.

Montreal is also making him look much better. Not a lot grade A scoring chances, and outside of Gionta and Cammy, the cupboard is pretty bare. Someone needs to step up and pot a goal. AK46, Gomez, Plekanec all have done nothing offensively for quite some time.

We all know the saying "You're not in trouble until you lose a game on home ice". Well, Montreal is in big trouble. Not ready to count them out, but they look totally unconfident out there.

They haven't looked this bad since Washington and Boston.

How ridiculous would it be if Philly went up 3-0...and then lost the series to Montreal?

Now of course that probably won't happen, but Montreal's proven resilient so far. That would be INSANE.

Right now I'd settle for a goal. Though the optimist in me likes how this series is trending...next game, we lose 1 1/2 - 0!! :D

Seeing the Flyers with a 2-0 lead REALLY makes me wish that Torts kept Gabbo off the ice for the bleeping shootout.
