Unrelated yet somehow still related: HBO's "Broad Street Bullies" documentary was fantastic. If any of you can catch it it's a must-watch.

Of course, if you hate the Flyers and everything they stand for, you might throw a coffee mug through your television.

Great. Olympic Nabokov has arrived.

Too bad the goalie market is so freaking awful, they'll probably end up resigning him because Turco/Price/Biron isn't exactly an upgrade.

You can have Osgood... for free even. :p

You can have RDP if you take his contract. Hell, take half of it.
Has anyone ever called him Rick Double Penetration before? If not, can I get credit for coming up with it? Thanks. :)

The royalty check is in the mail.

Well, he should be free. How much can you really pay a dude to open and close the gate.
How much is Tim Thomas making next year?

I think "Ricky" works better than just "Rick", but yes, you get credit for that in my ledger.

Ricky DP could suffice, after a brief explanation. Ricky DP rolls off the tongue a bit more successfully.

As a kid in the Philadelphia area during the Flyers' run, this documentary brought it all back... Great stuff.

It does, but I've heard him called Rick DP before; it's the clarification of what DP stands for that I think is new. :)

I don't mind MAB in, but I wish he could get his minutes limited to 4th line forward duty and the PP. That's really all he's good for (and the 4th line forward duty is a stretch).

Having him playing a regular shift defensively is terrifying.

He's minus eleven in the post-season. For a team that has made the conference finals. That is an accomplishment.

Joe Thornton's a -10...with just under a point a game, which I think is more of an accomplishment.
