TS Karl was born yesterday and there are two Cat4 storms in the Atl at one time! (Igor and Julia)... Only second time that's ever happened....

Igor never made landfall in Newfoundland.

However, to answer your question, there have been 11 hurricanes to make landfall in Newfoundland since 1775. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newfoundland_Hurricanes

If by "Fabian" you mean "Faith" and "6.0 Latitude" you mean "6.0 Longitude"...

And that position is when it crossed the Faeroe Islands, just north of Scotland, not Norway.
