Re: 2010/2011 UML In-Season Thread

Tied another ppg for bad guys

Four goals on 21 shots for Bentley, four goals on 17 shots for UML. Goalies struggling so far tonight?

Was surprised not to see Carr or Boulanger tonight, especially with only one game coming this weekend.

Hope the River Hawks turn it up and finish this game strong.

End of 2. 6-5 good guys. This is not the team that played BC. Bring back the aliens!

For the life of me I cannot figure out how we managed to score that many goals.

Where is mookie? Jasmine's outfit would make him smile.
Jasmine's outfit definitely made me smile!

Massie gets to play (and I hate to say it) because it was a meaningless game. And he got NO help from his Defense.

We could and should have scored more.

I should rephrase. We missed an open net in at least one series 3 times but when we scored we looked so awful I was waiting for a turnover.

There was a strong rumor going around last night that the Saturday game is close to being sold out ... so for those that don't have tickets, be warned, get there early.

Worth buying online and paying the rip off charges or walking up?

Re: 2010/2011 UML In-Season Thread

We won last night, always a good thing :D

I just couldn't as one "UMLFan" put it, 'feel the excitement' against a team that we should have beaten 10-2.

The offense was there but as a team, the first 40 minutes were awful. The last 20 minutes weren't bad and was the effort I expected for the entire game. Defensively, we were non-existent last night and will have to dramatically improve if they want to keep Saturday's game close. Despite being hung out to dry for most if not all of the game, Massie struggled tremendously and did not look comfortable at any point during the game. I think he made a handful of clean saves.

I've heard rumors from three different people last night that around 5000 or so tickets were accounted for Saturday's game against BC. The arena now seats around 6200 after the renovations.

Tomorrow is the "13th birthday" of the Tsongas Arena/Center.
