Cornell up 2-0 after 1. Shots on goal are 11-2 Cornell. White (from Johnston and Cudmore) and Hughes (from Ogilvie and Gagliardi) both scored in the first 5 minutes but things seemed to settle down a bit after that. RMU is 0 for 2 with on the power play.
Cornell wins 3-2. RMU scores with 30 seconds left with their goalie pulled. Cornell played pretty uninspired hockey in the third and much of the second. Good to get the first game out of the way. Set up a bunch of opportunities but could only seal the deal 3 times.
Final UNH 2-1 over Clarkson.
Shots were 32 to 18 in UNH's favor. UNH allowed only three shots for a 30 minute span following the first period. Clarkson came on strong in the final half of the third, allowing UNH two shots. (though Armstrong had a nice breakaway and rung one off the crossbar) Great game by Clarkson's Howe in net. Kept the game close. Minton made some key saves late in the third to preserve the win for the Wildcats.
Some top ten teams and the unpredictable happenings:

Wisco won 6-5 in OT. Decker got the winner to complete the hat trick. In the third, Wisco down 4-2, leading 5-4, tied 5-5, won 6-5 in OT. Must be early in the season, run and gun hockey ?. Who said there is no scoring in Womens hockey ?
Cornell up on RMU 3-0 after 1. Jenner scored unassisted, Johnston scored from Cudmore then Campbell scored from Johnston and Young. Shots on goal are 17-1. I thought Cornell looked pretty good in the first period yesterday, but they definitely picked it up a notch over that. Hopefully, they keep it up.
Cornell up 5-0 after 2. Hughes scored from Ogilvie and Cook and Campbell scored from Jenner. Shots on goal through 2 are 30-3. A much better second period for Cornell than yesterday.
