2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

UMD 4
UCONN 0

Not sure what to say. A sweep is a sweep. No offense intended, but Connecticut was way outmatched this weekend. It wasn't even decent weather for their road trip. Oh well. Next weekend the rodents are in town. Brooms will be available at the door. :D

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

I don't care what the box score says, that was Armstrong with the goal. Period.

You were right. (Never doubt a man directly behind the net) Phil Kincade's video shows that Armstrong one timed the feed from Birchard.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

I've watched the highlight film a few times, and it's tough to tell, because you never see her number (and I was stuck in the merchandise booth during the real thing:(

I must say that Lavoie's spin move was even more appreciable third or fourth veiwing. It's hard to tell at first watch, but she got off a pretty good backhander after deking the 2 defenders and being spun even more than she did herself.

Dartmouth at home 4-2 over Brown. Shots way in Dartmouth's favor. A nice win with names coming up that Dartmouth fans want to see-Nanji, Dumais, Foley, Horner, more, etc . and some new. All in all Dartmouth could surprise and that is their aim.

Go Green Go!

Yale at Thompson tomorrow 7 PM.

Cornell up on Quinnipiac 2-1 after 1. Both Cornell goals were scored on the PP. Johnston scored from Karpenko and Fortino scored from Rougeau. Quinnipiac scored a nice back door goal Wheeler from Babstock. Cornell leads shots on goal through 1 are 16 to 8.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

UNH and Niagara tied at zip after one.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

UNH and Niagara still tied at the end of two.

Niagara leads in shots 16-15. UNH with several good flurries, but unable to corral the puck and put home a third shot in these scrums.

:p
Fair Harvard off to their usual 'patented' what me worry, s l ooo o o ooo oow start (why do WE need to hurry?); chalking up penalty minutes at home against the Eli-19 minutes to 4 so far.

Yale up 2-1.

Boola Boola!

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Cornell up 4-1 after two. Campbell scored from Johnston and Jenner. Karpenko scored from Young.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Harvard-Yale 2-2 heading into the third. 15 of those penalty minutes previously mentioned tabbed on Dempseys DQ for the hit from behind.

*not there- listening on the radio.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

At the end of regulation in Durham, there is still no score. Matching penalties with 13 seconds left, so 4 on 4 to start OT.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

End of 1:

UMD 1, Minnesota 1

Both goals on the PP, first Wong for UMD, then Seeler for Minnesota.

UMD leading in shots 15-5.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Niagara picks up a cross checking penalty. Five on three for 27 seconds, with a little more than a minute gone in OT.
